BoxTech is a global container database that provides a central data repository for container owners and operators to post fleet technical details.

With the help of BoxTech, container owners and operators can get instant access to container details, and upload and view container fleets all on one platform.

Enabling API-driven data on demand, BoxTech helps container owners and operators access error-free data including technical characteristics of containers like tare weight, container number, size/type, maximum gross mass, payload and more.

How BoxTech works?

BoxTech allows container owners/operators to register their entire container fleets in a central data repository, making key container technical information instantly accessible to trading partners and other important stakeholders in the supply chain.

BoxTech also allows the submitting important exception alerts, such as recovery alerts to individual units. Additionally, when units are sold, BoxTech allows owners to flag those units as sold, ensuring visibility throughout the industry that these units are no longer part of their fleet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Simply click on the ‘Owner/Operator’ Sign-up link and complete the sign-up form. You will be notified once your application has been verified, at which point you will be able to upload your files directly to BoxTech. While awaiting verification you will have access to BoxTech as a regular user.

SIGN UP

Once your account has been verified, you will be able to upload files directly to BoxTech using the ‘Upload Files’ button and selecting ‘Fleet In’. Please note all files must be according to the CSV file format provided (see CSV template on the right side of the FAQs page).
